Tonight I Can Write

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
Write, for example, 'The night is starry
and the stars are blue and shiver in the distance.'
The night wind revolves in the sky and sings.
Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too.
Through nights like this one I held her in my arms.
I kissed her again and again under the endless sky.
She loved me, sometimes I loved her too.
How could one not have loved her great still eyes.
Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
To think that I do not have her. To feel that I have lost her.
To hear the immense night, still more immense without her.
And the verse falls to the soul like dew to the pasture.
What does it matter that my love could not keep her.
The night is starry and she is not with me.
This is all. In the distance someone is singing. In the distance.
My soul is not satisfied that it has lost her.
My sight tries to find her as though to bring her closer.
My heart looks for her, and she is not with me.
The same night whitening the same trees.
We, of that time, are no longer the same.
I no longer love her, that's certain, but how I loved her.
My voice tries to find the wind to touch her hearing.
Another's. She will be another's. As she was before my kisses.
Her voice, her bright body. Her infinite eyes.
I no longer love her, that's certain, but maybe I love her.
Love is so short, forgetting is so long.
Because through nights like this one I held her in my arms
my soul is not satisfied that it has lost her.
Though this be the last pain that she makes me suffer
and these the last verses that I write for her
poem by Pablo Neruda

It hurts

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. In the last couple of weeks I've noticed her a lot in blogs and press, especially with her new movie launching.
Seriously, she's so gorgeous it hurts.. These are my favorite pictures of her.
Seriously, it's depressing (but I adore her anyway) !

The shoes, the hair, the accessorizes. Everything's just so great, gotta love it, right ?

Miles McMillan

Such a stunning picture of Kate Moss. Her strong, piercing eyes and bent back are what makes this picture so unique. Couldn't take my eyes off it.

EDIT : I just wanted to mention that Kate is marrying her fiancé Jamie Hince today, as I just read it on www.modette.no . Congrats, Kate !

Love that the colors "stick out" of the rest !

I carry your heart with me

I carry your heart with me (I carry it in
My heart) I am never without it (anywhere
I go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
By only me is your doing, my darling)

I fear
No fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) I want
No world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
And it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
And whatever a sun will always sing is you

Here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(Here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
And the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
Higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
And this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)

Women are multitaskers, they're absolutely capable of drawing henna on themselves while watching a movie...

What do you think about my self-made henna?

Like a flower meadow

The new trend (?) : A flower meadow, only on clothing.

Don't you love the sharp, boyish cut in the first picture, too? It gives an unusual twist to the normally so feminine floral prints. And don't forget: Boys can wear it, too !)

Gone with the wind

Nothing better than dresses so light, you're scared to lose them in the wind, right ?

Look at her trousers! Paired with the high heels they make the perfect outfit. And the colors in this picture are so great, I'm so happy summer's finally (if only theoretically) arrived. And hey, today there were 45 minutes of sun in Oslo - it doesn't get much better than that

Food for the rain sick

I don't know about you, but here it's raining. In june. Which is really depressing and even sadder: Not surprising at all.

In these bitter days it's good to have at least some (if only virtual) colors, right? That's why I love these pictures. They're not only dynamic but also as colorful like a rainbow. I just want to lay beside the models in the flowers for hours. Just imagine the wonderful smell !
